I don't think anyone in DC has figured it out yet. They've tried to throttle back the NIH already. Some friends in a couple of pharmas have confided that there are whisper scenarios being looked at about the pros and cons of moving HQ to China. Everyone in the US thinks that's impossible--the same

starting to appear that we are a lot further down that road than people seem to think. In the next 3-5 years, Chinese biotech and pharma will likely catch up to if not surpass the US. Scientists have been leaving the US and/or leaving science. And no one seems concerned.

The problem Broadway is coming up against is that in contrast to the 1960s when a family could afford to go see a Broadway show on a regular basis, they no longer can. Broadway, like Hollywood, is laying the seeds for its own destruction.
