I had an appointment with my new gastroenterologist today and she both believed me (despite not having medical records since my former practitioner died and her office shuttered without contacting me) and was competent 😭💕

I appreciate you so much, Whiffy! 🥹💕 I still have additional testing that needs to be done by a few specialists to figure out my best options for treatment first, but I think I'll (hopefully) be okay 🤞

unless I need surgery or if my meds are expensive/not covered by insurance 🫠

After a lifetime of chronic illness and a solid 8 years as an adult struggling to get help slowing the rapid progression of my degrading health I finally today have a diagnosis;

I'm asking for a friend and that friend is me. I had a skin cancer screening last year and was told not to worry about it, felt brushed off, and I just hope I'm taken seriously this time.

Tbh I may just go to a different doctor, idk. I'm just so done y'all.

trying to figure out how I overextended myself physically when I haven't made any changes to my level of physical activity, then realizing it's not something I can prevent or predict is such a rude awakening when you think you've found a balance that works for you chronic pain-wise

It's officially a year post-top surgery in November, & I'm happy to announce that I HAVE FEELING IN BOTH MY NIPPLES 🥳🎉

One is still at about 87% sensation and the other is at 100% so prognosis is really good! Maybe I can get them re-pierced for my birthday 🥰

A pale bare thigh is speckled in red wax-play dots that have been dropped into a recognizable shape of a heart ❤️ some pubic hair can be seen on a mons, but the genitalia are out of view.
