The Unraveling is a haunting abstract expressionist piece that captures the fragile boundary between being and disappearance. A solitary, shadow-like figure emerges from a textured haze of whites, grays, and blacks, its form dissolving into vertical drips that drag it toward obscurity. The absence of defined features invites reflection on identity, memory, and the quiet erosion of self. Two coral-like ceramic sculptures, long and thin, arranged as an eleven. The colours are vivid, the left hand piece predominantly orange and red, with some turquoise, lime and very deep purple. It has a large, peach-coloured wavy frill along the left side, with a large area of lime green and red brain coral on the right hand side of the main body. There are orange finger-like appendages sticking out between the other textures. The one on the right has smaller fingers, in white, with textured shell-like fans in turquoise with red and yellow petals surrounding the orange pitted centres.
