Dear US Congress: On the remote chance that you decide that raping children is enough to disqualify someone from serving as President, here are some more crimes you can add to the Articles of Impeachment. Hope this helps! open.substack.com/pub/lewiscal...

Yesterday in America, my child's friend was murdered with a gun. The Republican Party says that nothing can be done to prevent such tragedies, and also that it's fine if the President rapes children.

Looking forward to a majority opinion by Chief "Justice" John Roberts, explaining why Trump is absolutely immune from prosecution for statutory rape because having sex with 14 year-olds is clearly within the scope of his duties as President.

Very transparent US gov't complies with law, releasing 0.83% of Epstein files, heavily redacted, showing that Trump— by the Grace of God King of USA, Defender of the Faith, &c—never met Epstein, while Bill Clinton and Michael Jackson were running a child sex ring out of a DC Pizza Hut! </sarcasm>
December 21, 2025 at 7:55 AM
I am shocked, shocked! that when required by law to release ALL of the Epstein files, the Trump regime instead releases a pile of highly redacted bullshit that makes it look like the pedophile rapist who is somehow still allowed to be President never even met Epstein!

Dear BBC: I read with interest that Ellie Kildunne, the greatest rugby player in the world, took second place in your Sports Personality of the Year contest, so that you could give the award to...a man who plays golf? Is golf even a sport?!?

Dear Russell T Davies: According to the Doctor Who Wiki, UNIT science advisor Shirley Bingham has "a distinguished background in neurosurgery." She almost certainly holds a doctorate: MD, PhD, maybe both. The correct form of formal address for her is therefore "Dr Bingham," not "Mrs Bingham."

My favourite meal is a combination of foods called BREAKFAST, which I eat at a time of day which is called LUNCH in most of the Anglophone world, but which is called DINNER here in the North. So I get to have all three at once!

One time on Fuckerbook, a (now former) friend accused me of Trump Derangement Syndrome. I wonder how they felt when the insane despot who has turned the US government into a farcical fascist dictatorship identified the (non-existent) "TDS" as the cause of beloved filmmaker Rob Reiner's death?

Here in the North, Winters are cold, dark, wet and gloomy. The survival strategy for neurotypical Britons seems to be: go to noisy, crowded, brightly lit, overstimulating holiday parties, festivals, markets, pantos, &c every night in December! I wonder what the rest of us should do?

Six months after immigrating to Northern England, I go to the best pub in town, as I do every week. Rather than asking me what I would like to drink, the server says "pint of Landlord?" And I am home.

On January 16, 2025, I predicted that drunken rapist white nationalist Fox News talking head Pete Hegseth "will condone and/or cover up any war crimes committed by American soldiers when he’s running the Pentagon." Sometimes I hate to be right.

Also, please stop saying that Trump is "unhinged." That didn't work for Harris, and it isn't working now. To capture the depth of Trump's psychosis, you have to extend this strained metaphor well past the breaking point: he tore the door off its hinges, burned the house down, then nuked the city.

Dear Democrats, please stop saying "political violence has no place in America." This is a dangerous falsehood. Political violence is one of the main tactics which fascist regimes use to seize and maintain power. As such, it has a central place in fascist America.

The Home Secretary says that pro-Palestine marches are "un-British." She is simply wrong. There is nothing more British than defending the victims of a genocide. What is "un-British" is arresting pensioners for protesting peacefully against that genocide. open.substack.com/pub/lewiscal...

I do hope that the Home Office will consider that arresting British pensioners for protesting peacefully against the Palestinian genocide is perhaps not the best use of their resources at this time.
