🚗 Coffee in the cupholder, snacks packed, and the backseat full of questions and giggles.

We hit the road to St. Lawrence, St. John’s & Glovertown and I’m sharing the journey, one letter at a time.

Independence was never passive.

It was bold, defiant, and demanded justice.

From here in Canada, I’m watching my American friends fight for democracy and I believe you will rise!

This postcard’s from The Wild Strawberry, a cozy little café in Stephenville that might just be the coziest spot on Newfoundland’s west coast.

Come for the latte, stay for the vibe (and maybe the BBQ chicken melt too).

Bonavista is high in my list of places to explore next. I'm heading to the Burin Peninsula in July but need to plan a fall trip soon.

#IcebergAlley in #Twillingate, #Newfoundland, #Canada does not disappoint.

👀 Look at the scale of these bergs

❄️ turquoise colour of the water below the ocean waves near the berg.

These are some of the best images I’ve seen this year. #IcebergAlley #NFtravel

In #Twillinggate #Newfoundland

#Iceberg Alley has seen some amazing bergs. This enormous one was caught on video, just as it calved.

Look at the waves from the ice movement and the shifting that takes place afterwards.

What a capture.
A very interesting read about where Newfoundland's trains ended up after the closure of our railway!

Near Stephenville. Corner Brook is another beautiful place that I need to write about soon. I was there today and am in love with Harbour Grounds!
This summer vacation will be right here at home. I'm looking forward to exploring!
