The liver specialist I spoke to explaining most of her cirrhosis patient cases weren't due to alcohol, but type 2 diabetes combined with obesity. That is CRAZY man. In a country full of repressed alkies like this.

So it looks like I probably have cirrhosis, at least structurally (meaning the organ is damaged but functions normally).

This is not an endorsement, but the social consequences of Australia just outright banning children from social media is going to be absolutely fascinating to watch.

I gotta say one significant downgrade on the Twitter-esque experience is how Bluesky doesn't show you conversations unless you follow both users unless you use a feed.
It creates a very dead timeline.
And if I use one of those feeds do I become the weirdo because people are used to this now?
