Starting to acquire supplies for my next project. I could cry, the yarn i used on TS!Lys is a good match for the gold accent fabric that I got. It always makes my heart melt when I get to re-use supplies I bought for that build.

My partner just turned on the TV in the hotel and found a channel playing LoTR. It is the very beginning of Fellowship. This does not bode well for our arrival time to Thanksgiving dinner.

For my Texas friends: if you've ever wanted to see Lost Maples in fall colors, the time is near. It's going to be a good year! The colors haven't peaked yet, so this upcoming week should be good if you want to see a bit of autumnal colors.

I finished Silksong today. Before I closed out of the game, I took Hornet to her bell house so that she could sleep. Very enjoyable game.

My sister's AC went out this past week. Turns out it may be a while to get it fixed. So her kitty (Mocha) is hanging out with us. He was very nervous about the new place, but finally came to hang out with us in the evening. Such a sweet boy.

Flu and covid shot got! If the pharmacist or whatever says you need an underlying condition to qualify for the covid vaccine, then tell them you have allergies. Everyone does.

Today in the misadventures of cosplay care: spot cleaning on W!Lys gone wrong! My guess is that something leeched out of the fur when I was rinsing off some dirt. Luckily, a tide pen seemed to do the trick.

We learned how to make onigiri this weekend! I was talking to my mom about how they reminded me of the rice cakes she used to make for me when I was very young. Y'all. She says, "Our Japanese neighbor taught me how to make those!"
So... she had basically been making onigiri back then 😂

I'm suffering. Roam is sending me photos of the gray foxes that live outside his office. It's a mama and her babies. His pictures have to be vague and through blinds so he doesn't scare them. I'm SO jealous.

Yesterday I (accidenty) got revenge on my partner. I am very easy to startle, especially if I am focused on something. He often ends up scaring me by just walking into the room... but last night I heard a commotion in the kitchen. He didn't notice when I walked in, and got spooked!
