"Cardiovascular age validated by by ECG and found to be 14 years younger than chronological age" is a nonsensical phrase.
I am an internist this is not something we do or write in medical reports.

Of note, #Wisconsin is the (only) #Midwest state that did not expand #Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. What this means? More uncompensated care, and that leads to severe financial problems that lead to these closures. Eau Claire is not rural - it's a city of 70,000 people.

When people start rationing their healthcare bad things happen. Ask anyone who has to pay for insulin. Hell, people already literally die in this country because asthma inhalers still cost $50 with insurance because of corporate price manipulation.

Millions more who aren't facing QUITE as insane rate hikes will instead have to downgrade to a worse plan (from Gold to Silver, from Silver to Bronze, from PPO to HMO, etc) in order to escape some/most of the hikes.

That means higher deductibles/co-pays & more paperwork/hoops to jump through.

There is truth to the idea that media outlets are drawn to negative, sensational news. Everyone writes about Florida eliminating vaccine mandates. Yet we have a letter signed by over 1,000 Florida physicians opposing this decision, and no outlet would published it. They don't even respond at all.
