These companies make billions in profits, some several billions a month, they can afford to keep people employed, but they won’t because it hits their pocket

Bringing businesses and rich capitalists into coalitions with workers means the rich entities will have the most sway. Compromises will be largely made in their favor because their influence and capital is “needed”. This must be understood and prepared for if that’s the strategy

This is just Domino Theory. "If we don't fund this proxy war, eventually democracy will fall." The exact same reasoning as it was in the 50s
I certainly agree about Israel. Ukraine is a necessary investment to protect liberty and democracy in the West in the long run. Stopping billions to Israel is to end support for a genocide, and we should do that NOW.
