There is no real good turbulence detection. There is good storm detection, there are wind read out & crowd sourcing apps that measure turbulence at a given location and time—it only seems to work well when there’s a lot of turbulence or no turbulence. You can’t train on nonexistent technology.

Most pilots now use iPads for charts and performance apps. One of these apps measures and crowd sources turbulence info, so the ability to collect turbulence data is now here. Of course, I spend a fair amount of effort avoiding turbulence so I’m not sure my passengers would notice this even if true

Night flights usually have shorter lines for takeoff and more direct routings because of less traffic.

Is the suggested mitigation of contrails at the expense of increased fuel consumption? Polar flights are, in many cases, shorter.

Generally, truth and reconciliation processes focus on investigating and getting confessions to get to the TRUTH and allow societies to RECONCILE.

In exchange for the TRUTH those investigations don’t lead to prosecution.

I think you want something else.

Every FO for the past 4 Trips (and some trips I’ve had 5) has a CJO, a class date, or an interview

They talk excitedly about where their off to and all I got is🤷‍♂️
