Storytelling is an art. The journey is part of the art. The method of delivering a reveal or twist is an art. An art that someone passionately weaved to create, not just a story, but an experience. It pisses me off to no end seeing people try to destroy that art and experience.

For the record, I still have more respect for the traditional artist than I do for AI-Sloppers. I they can do amazing work with pencils, pens, paint, ect.

But it’s disheartening to hear from them
that your work isn’t worth anything just because you used a digital art program for your work-

Both sides discredit the amount of work and effort one puts into a digital art. One side doesn’t acknowledge it, while the other completely undermines it.

Meanwhile, you have AI-sloppers say that we’re wasting our time studying and applying art fundamentals- when we could be asking the prompting program to instantly shit out the image for us.

Trad-Artists see us as less because they think we don’t put in the same amount of time and effort into our work as they do- just because we do our work off of the computer.
