Playing piano long enough to have favorite key signatures. E♭ maj and A♭ maj, I love you. Sorry F♯ maj and B maj, I'm not a fan. C♯ major feels better than C major. I used to wonder why musicians would compose in different keys but now I get it.

A regret that I carry is spending decades telling myself that my art's mediocre. I thought I was pushing to improve but I was just beating myself down. I've produced and improved more since acquiring a gentle touch in my process, embracing my own art, skills, and limitations. Better late than never.
