Flipping the major/minor key of a piece is often amusing. There's lots of examples on YT. The Star Spangled Banner in the vid you sent was a really good one. It's kind of like gender-bending our favorite furry characters for art & fanfic, lol.

You're a musician! My fav keys are based on feel and familiarity. Probably correlated with keys that my fav composers favor. There often isn't much substance behind my preferences. E.g., I prefer D♭ maj over C♯ maj, even though they're the same, cuz I know more pieces written in D♭.

I don't mean to hurt your soul. It's a brilliant one and you should be proud of it. My bitching about STEM isn't because it's a bad path. It's just that I feel I sacrificed too much for it.

You have a talent for excessive self-deprecation! A healthy dose of humility is good but on the flip-side, I've found that I could do more things once I stopped trying to convince myself that I wasn't good at them. Someone else having more talent doesn't diminish one's own accomplishments.

STEM was the right choice for me, but I bemoan that at midlife I've given it the vast majority of my time and energy. This was to art's detriment, so I hope to invert resource allocation in the current phase of my life. Art makes me feel good in ways that STEM doesn't.

Well definitely don't buy their Pro Support. With their standard support you ship the laptop to them for repairs. It's slow but it's faster than THIS.

This has taken so long that I got a new computer and set it up already. So I told them to take as long as they want. My only request is that if they make an appointment, they should show up. A reasonable request, but they can't comply.

Dell flaked on me for the 7th time so I told them to restart the repair process with a different service provider. If everything goes perfectly from this point forward it will be 16 days elapsed for my NBD service. *smh*

It was a special moment seeing Nick lounging in his fox den. I melted when I saw how much he loves pizza, having it strewn about his floor with more pizza on the way. A fox after my own heart.
