could never get into blazar or arc because i felt like was out of my depth in just the first episode. if you took the 'back to basics' approach of omega and the high production fights of those shows i think youd have a perfect ultraman show (inb4 theres already a show like that or something)

imo the thrust of the advice to "know your audience" is not "write what your preexisting audience wants to read, or what you expect An Audience to want to read" it's "there is an audience who wants to read what you want to write, so write squarely for them and don't hedge it"

I got tired of seeing nothing but heroic looking depictions of the Gundam, and it had been a while since I drew the Gundam, so I drew this.

Amuro is a terrified child with PTSD that worsens with every day he is forced to stay on the battlefield as the Gundam's pilot.
