There's absolutely no reason for me to pit these Netflix shows against each other but everyone I know is watching HUNTING WIVES and no one is watching TOO MUCH

Socialism is what they called public power.

Socialism is what they called social security.

Socialism is what they called the growth of free and independent labor organizations.

Socialism is their name for almost anything that helps all the people.

No matter what happens today in the mayoral primary, let's make a commitment to ourselves and each other that we're gonna stop saying "We did it, Joe"

This is absolutely insane - everyone needs to read this and then follow what's going on with the Abrams Union

please I'm begging you rank 5 people who are not Andrew Cuomo in June
NEW:

Andrew Cuomo used ChatGPT to help write the housing plan he released this weekend, which included several nonsensical passages. The plan even cites to ChatGPT on a section about the Rent Guidelines Board.

"Making it to the weekend" is no longer a goal when making it through the weekend with a democracy intact feels unrealistic.

Trade unionists everywhere, defenders of the Constitution, of freedom of speech, of academic freedom, and of the right of free association, should be appalled and disgusted by the behavior of Columbia University, and should take it for the clear signal it is.

It is no accident that this comes days after the federal government froze Columbia’s funding, and threatened to pull funding from 60 other universities across the country. It is no accident that this firing has occurred the day before contract negotiations begin.

Setting a new floor for bookselling in NYC. Congratulations, B&N workers! 🎉
Barnes and Noble workers have won a historic first union contract at the company.

Workers organized with @rwdsu.bsky.social just ratified their first union contract at three NYC locations.

The contract brings the minimum wage up to between $23.00-$25.00, improves healthcare, and more.

Very reminiscent of how men were talking about Anthony Weiner in the 2013 mayoral race before the Carlos Danger stuff broke. We actually don't have to give predators second chances in electoral politics
So funny to see the left’s circular firing squad forming around Cuomo. Disagree on policy, not purity.
