He & Boris Johnson were informed of the matter in 2020, but senior British government civil servants tried to conceal it & warned attendees that it would be a criminal offense to disclose details to the media.

I think there’s something the Government ought to be aware of: it’s this Parliament & MPs here who have been spied on; & it’s MPs’ offices that have been infiltrated.
As it stands, we’ve seen payment for spying on what I believe we should be protecting. I feel we haven’t had the protection.”

Decision to shut down case was taken by Powell & Treasury 6 weeks ago.

Intelligence concerns surrounding the mega-embassy were prevented from being submitted & taken into consideration in the ongoing 🇨🇳 planning application.
