A Roman glass cage cup, believed to be a "Circus Cup" from the 3rd or 4th Century AD. The cup is a type of luxury Roman glass vessel known as a vas diatretum or "cage cup". It is decorated with enamel images of animals, which is why similar cups are known as "Circus Cups
