And because Americans think the stock market is an accurate metric of the economy, a lot of people are going to be very surprised when the Dow and S&P catches up. Because they will. And 💨 goes the world economy.
The world is turning very sour on the greenback. Having already weakened substantially in 2025, the dollar limps into the final week with the DXY index depreciating to below 98 again. This reflects the world's view on the strength of the US economy under Trump.
