Today I posted a video with my opinion about the Putnam... I think it's toxic because it promotes the old and tired elitist view of mathematics. The fact that the median score is 0 or 1 out of 120 is absurd... there is no reason for this (e.g., the average IMO score is 40-50%).

Today I posted a video with my opinion about the Putnam... I think it's toxic because it promotes the old and tired elitist view of mathematics. The fact that the median score is 0 or 1 out of 120 is absurd... there is no reason for this (e.g., the average IMO score is 40-50%).

Aus aktuellem Anlass (Tagungsmonat) nochmal der Hinweis: Der Großteil der Konferenzbeigaben verbleibt im Hotel zur Entsorgung. Einschließlich solch vermeintlich "nachhaltiger" Geschenke wie Kaffeebecher und Powerbanks - aufgrund von oft minderwertiger Qualität dieser Werbeprodukte.
