My remarks to the Metropolitan Airport Commission on Monday: ICE’s actions must be resisted peacefully, safely, legally, and creatively by everyone - we need to step up because this isn’t someone else’s problem.

Remember: Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.

Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this.

Do not.

Corporations are one of the worst fictions in our World. Whenever a corporation does something evil, real flesh and blood people made that decision. These people should be held accountable. When a corporation murders tens of thousands of people, the people who made that decision should go to prison.

All of this began with the Citizens United case: money legally became speech, corporate campaign donations drove politicians’ priorities, Congress became a passive servant for corporate greed, abandoned voters searched for people to punish, and Trump served up the scapegoats.

Trump and Witkoff seem to believe that all Americans care about is making money. When it comes to Ukraine, however, polls show clearly that American care about right and wrong. Trump is out of step with American people on Ukraine/Russia.
Five-byline alert: 🚨

“.. the full scope of [Witkoff’s talks] went much further, according to people familiar .. They were privately charting a path to bring Russia’s $2 trillion economy in from the cold—with American businesses first in line .. to the dividends. 🇺🇦

“I think” is how a system run by a king or a dictator works. Here, we have a rule of law that says no one, and that includes the government, can murder people on a whim because it “thinks” they’re up to no good.

Republicans had a very bad day yesterday:
-Trump fell asleep during his cabinet meeting.
-Republicans continue to lose critical cases in court.
-They vastly underperformed in a Tennessee congressional special election.

They are panicking and will become much worse. Pay attention.
