💻 Apple just released the Xcode 26.1.1 update. And after using it for a few hours, I’m happy to report that the bug in Simulator that caused Macs to overheat and drain the battery is gone 🥳

🙏 Thank you, good developers at Apple! Updates like this are a huge quality-of-life improvement.

📱iOS26.1 fixed many things but also changed a bit how colors work with glass buttons.

In the latest version of my app Skoro:
✅ Button labels are visible again
✅ Corrected Arabic localization
✅ You can use Eastern Arabic numbers

👋 Dear iOS developers and SwiftUI gurus. When using Menu component in iOS 26, label morphs into the menu when it’s active. In iOS 18 the label was always visible (check my screenshot).

Is it possible to turn off this morphing animation in Menu in iOS 26? It makes all sorts of problems.

I understand the importance of showing appropriate content to minors. But I don’t want to know my users’ age.
We already provide you with data about our content via ASC. Can’t you restrict apps on the OS level?

😩 iOS 26.1 Simulator in Xcode 26.1 makes ReportCrash process in Activity Monitor run at 60-160% of CPU.

Doesn’t happen with iOS 26.0 Simulator. But iOS 26.0 breaks sound on macOS 😅
Please Apple, give us at least one working Simulator 🙏

😩 This menu worked perfectly before iOS 26. Now it has this ugly animation glitch with jumping label.

Similar problems:
- contextMenu Preview
- TabView on a Mac with apps designed for iPad

Xcode 26.0.1 - using the Simulator breaks the sound. I need to run this in Terminal to fix crackling sound:

sudo killall coreaudiod

Several times a day 😩 I’ve already reported this to Apple and hope they will fix it soon 🤞😬

👨🏻‍💻 One user of my expense-tracking app asked if Numi could also show the time of each transaction, not just the date.

After a small change in Numi 2.6, you can now turn this on in Settings. Minimal by default. More detail if you want it.
