i can never understand why american media is so gung-ho on the israel question. but if they continue to ask about whether random people believe israel has a right to exist, they should link us to why it matters to them so much more than a palestinian's right to life

this may be a little ageist coming from me (though if you know me I've had this exact view for at least 2 decades) but I sincerely believe that people should really just take a step back and relax when they reach their 70s. they should not be involved in running businesses let alone countries.

what happens to the money that a campaign has raised if the campaigner doesn't win? i do imagine a lot of it is being spent on funding the campaign but the amounts that some campaigners raise is a shit ton (not to be technical), so what happens to ~$22m if e.g. cuomo loses?
