Assuming congresspeople are being paid with federal funds, how are THEY being paid but other federal employees including the military are not? It’s a no-brainer that if the government is shut down, the GOVERNMENT who CONTROLS the shutdown shouldn’t get paid either.

As an #atheist I’ve come to realize we don’t have to fear #religion itself. Mega churches are another story. Small, neighborhood churches generally teach empathy and compassion for their fellow man. Mega churches are there for money and #republicans are the ones who are going to protect them.

If this presidency doesn’t once and for all kill the myth that the #usa has the greatest democracy in the world, I don’t know what will. A full on dictatorship is what’s happening without any real recourse. Other democracies could call a vote of no confidence, but not this “great”democracy.
