I've been reading the post-Bats: Year One, Catwoman stories in order. 2 things that have struck me so far:
1. There are not many of them
2. Most of them are not actually that interested in her.

This is the title page of issue #5 of her ongoing series. Catwoman doesn't actually turn up until page 6.

Being sad and not knowing why is always a weird thing:
Am I tired?
Unwell?
Personal stress?
Upset at the start of the world?
Existential dread?
Need a glass of water?
My body and brain often don't tell me. Just make me cry til it passes...

Also, whoever uploaded on to Plex clearly made some mistakes. So far episode 6 was repeated and episode 17 was replaced with #34. Not that I mind a jump forward to the convening of the Estates-General but it is also interrupting my Yuri-Bait! 😁
Whilst I am enjoying watching the 1979 anime of Rose of Versailles, I have a sneaking suspicion the subtitles are not 100% accurate.

In which I discuss how science fiction is creeping into British Rock music by 1970:

[October 28, 1970] Pop Goes the Science Fiction: The Futuristic British Sound - Galactic Journey
This is a post-psychedelic progressive sound that, although manifesting in different ways, has a keen interest in and focus on the future.

I just learned that the first season of the Bill and Ted animated series actually had Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, George Carlin and Bernie Casey doing their voices, not impersonators as I had assumed.
That is just so wild Hanna Barbera managed that.

Weird hobby of mine #36:
I like to sometimes make SF anthologies just for myself like mix tapes.
I will work out a theme, try to find works on that mixing well known and more obscure, weighing up for concepts and backgrounds, reading ordering, get cover/interior art & then transcribe into a document

[October 16, 1970] Dance the Eagle to Sleep under a Red Moon and Black Mountain (October Galactoscope #1) - Galactic Journey %
The Gods of Foxcroft, by David Levy, is a dark, dystopian slog full of ugly torture, unlikeable lead characters, and the sort of omniscient future brings who became a boring cliché

This is going to sound weird but the honest answer is almost anything. I found in school under pressure, as long as I had the vaguest familiarity with a subject I can keep talking about it.
It has helped me many times to keep conversations going when I care or know little about it.

[September 24, 1970] Der Englische Krankheit (The Disappearing Future) - Galactic Journey
The purpose of this kind of science fiction, is to comment on the present, see where it is leading us. Not to predict the future but to change it.
