NEW: 12 Mississippi polling places have moved and 4 have been closed ahead of the Nov. 4 legislative special elections, an MFP investigation finds.

Counties also have incorrect addresses in the state system for 11 polling places, risking sending some voters to the wrong location.

On purpose. They dont want to give the power to the ppl. ESPECIALLY the Black ppl.
I feel like all these articles skim over the boycott.
Thank you so much for these works, truly was a light for me during such dim times🙏🏾
It’s disheartening to see Teen Vogue dissolved into Vogue and its political team let go. For years, it was one of the few mainstream spaces that made room for honest, radical commentary on justice, inequality & the world we actually live in. I’m grateful it gave me a home for so many of my op-eds

One of the most meaningful moments I recall when I was desperate for literally anything to cling to during Trump 1.0 was the emergence of Teen Vogue as a destination for anti-fascist coverage. It was so surprising that it became a popular joke, indeed an in-joke, that TV was such a destination.

Hey sweet thang,

This is your reminder that every living thing in the world slows down during these next months. You’re not lazy cuz you’re doing less. It’s okay that the early darkness makes you tired (it’s supposed to).

Humans the only ones who keep fighting against the natural patterns of life.

Good morning, New Yorkers.

We love this city and we don't play around.

Let's get to the polls and encourage our neighbors to go too.

I forgot to grab my water bottle and didn’t realize until I was too far to go back. I got a little annoyed but when I went to dig in my bag,I saw an unopened bottle there & of course it was nice and cold.

Don’t get hung up on what you left behind bc there’s always something better waiting for you.

"Don't buy where you can't work and don't work where you can't buy"
I’m doing research for a project and found out about the “don’t buy where you can’t work” movement during the depression, where Black people boycotted and picketed places that wouldn’t hire us. Shout out to everyone who’s not going back to Target!

Lower the prices for everyone then…
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

I’ve said it before: social media be having folks think they got more options than they do.
