Just got back from a cinema screening of the original 1925 version of The Phantom Of The Opera, with a thunderous live score in a baroque-Mogwai style from Minima. It's fantastic that a film that's 100 years old can still be as beautiful, gripping and weird as it was back then. Movies are great.

The new cute guy at work decided to start a conversation with me at the coffee machine today. I’ve been a grumpy adult for many years now but I still started blushing and burbling like a dumb teenager. It was kinda pathetic, but it would have been worse if I wasn’t able to feel like that anymore
