As a Markey constituent, he was tired & not bringing anything to the position before that primary against Kennedy & isn’t good at constituent services. Post primary he’s more energized at doing same old same old I.e. not bringing anything to the position. Is spite a factor? Sure, but not everything

First, there was no “litigation risk” for “partisan programming”.

If someone thought a station was violating the Fairness Doctrine they reported it to the FCC who gave the stations a chance to correct it.

While I do find myself agreeing w/Paul and Hawley from time to time, it’s rare I agree w/both on the same issue

Paul: “These new taxes in the form of tariffs … fail on the Constitution, and must be reversed”

Hawley suggested changing IEEPA was the right response

But yes, so much of what comes out of this admin feels like spite before country, grift before country, party before country, pretty much just plain America last.
