It occurred to me that I never shared this here on Bluesky BUT!

My webcomic Les Normaux will be published by this February! Just over 10 years after starting the original version of Sébastien and Elia’s story 💜💚✨

I practiced drawing different animals and I think it went really well.

Seb is seen holding a DVD-case with the title "The Jester". He says "Oh! It's the bad guy from batguy!" "I haven't seen this in your collectio..." he stops mid-scentence while looking up from the cover. He looks scared and worried. The last panel is of Elia, he is frowning and has red eyes. Don't just write. Read books. Watch films. Look at paintings and sculpture. Play games. Go to plays. Listen to music. Think about how these things make you feel.
Making art is a two-way stream. To make art, you have to consume art.

If I had to summarize my 2024 art in one word it would be "consistent" I think. Which is a good thing for comics! I think I finally really found my stride with drawing Les Normaux. Which is what it was another full year of also! Something I couldn't have imagined just 2 years ago. >
