I wanted to add controller input to the marble game but this version of unity has a malignant input issue that can cause joystick axes to get stuck if there isn't another one active. Bummer.

built a new PC. Interesting notes:
Windows 10 IoT LTSC is exactly the same experience as regular windows, but without the bs.
Out of curiosity, I installed Unity 2.6.1 and it activated via internet and ran completely fine with no issues. I think my old windows install was garbonzoed

This paper is the OG. The turning point in non-realtime 3D rendering.
"Distributed Ray Tracing" is a bit of misnomer, because it's all applicable to scanline rendering as well.

one thing I am certain of after playing halo reach again is that if a halo game is going to have sprrint, it needs to commit to it like halo 4 did and provide it at all times. Screws up my muscle memory when I select a different loadout and activate armor lock instead
