Anyone have any ideas for bulking up flimsy angel wings without 1) hampering other costume segments 2) being able to be quick changed for over a dozen kids at a time and 3) again kids and ballet- visible but not wobbling or falling off?

My schedule has been completely f*cked—five years of a single routine- out the window.
On the other hand, I'm also shopping for new furniture- in my own house. We've lived here almost two years and I just have to face it- nothing fits (size-wise). Time to shuffle rooms around and repurpose.

Thrifting books for color or size, but with no interest in the contents, seems criminal.
I'm not saying don't thrift for beauty because being beautiful is sometimes an object's function. But why ignore usefulness for fashion?

Torn between an overwhelming urge to sleep til Autumn, make sandwiches for random hungry people, or start a YouTube channel on food equity and the disparity of socio-economic stigma.

She outlived 9 husbands, numerous lovers, 12 of her 17 siblings, and swore by a daily regimen of two packs of Virginia Slims and a pitcher of sweet tea.

I like holidays. This girl LOVES excuses to do silly little activities! But I don't love the nationalist bent the 4th is all about. At all.
So, this year I'm doing something I'm calling "Foreign Fourth." The gist is to only engage with non-US things all day! Chinese for dinner. Foreign films. Etc.
