I don't even think they'll dismantle them. I am more worried they'll do what Xbox did when they bought Rare. I had to watch the Goldeneye/Donkey Kong/Killer Instinct studio become an Xbox avatar factory. Netflix could easily turn those places into avenues for their mobile game platforms.

After Netflix execs dismantled their AAA games studio in 2024, because they believe those types of games are too risky, I am big time worried about WB Montreal, NetherRealm, Avalanche and Rocksteady.

There is high chance almost all of these studios will be shut down in the next 10 years and it just fucking sucks. This year has just fucking sucked.
A WB spokesperson confirmed that the nine WB Games Studios will join Netflix including NetherRealm, Rocksteady, Avalanche Software, and TT Games.

I know Retro Studios tried to do a Zelda game during the Wii gen but was apparently terrible game design wise. With Prime 4 out, I'd be down to see them try again. Some reviews say Prime 4 is like an old 3D Zelda, I'M FEELING A DESIRE FOR THAT. Would be cool to see modern Retro tackle it.

Hot take I guess but I really do enjoy games that are more directed experience sometimes over more “free form playground” type games. Both are incredibly hard to do well but I’m more willing to give the directed experience a shot.

I saw a reviewer say Prime 4 almost had classic Zelda type “dungeons” and that made me more excited
one thing about the Silent Hill 2 Remake that was really dope is that they included the original team in the credits. Not just names but their roles and what they did. That should be standard for all remakes and remasters.

not to get too personal, but it's pretty stupid that for a speeding ticket, you have to also pay a court fee on top of the fine just to not have to go to court. Like I'm paying the general fine for speeding why am I paying the court fee? I'M PAYING EARLY TO NOT HAVE TO GO TO COURT
