Playing Prime 4 and really digging it. It’s not Prime 1 but I never expected it to be that. Some of the reviews I’m convinced those reviewers are just braindead stupid. I do agree this game feels more like an old 3D Zelda game than Metroid BUT THATS ALSO GOOD FOR ME

I know Retro Studios tried to do a Zelda game during the Wii gen but was apparently terrible game design wise. With Prime 4 out, I'd be down to see them try again. Some reviews say Prime 4 is like an old 3D Zelda, I'M FEELING A DESIRE FOR THAT. Would be cool to see modern Retro tackle it.

Been playing Half Life and its remake Black Mesa almost side by side. it’s kinda crazy how the original is really patched together sloppily (good thing). BM takes that original, really refines it while keeping that messy base. The OG really is a miracle game.

Being in a Half Life mood I booted up Episode 1 for the first time. It definitely has an epilogue sorta feel. Get outta City 17 to prepare for Episode 2 which is mostly new stuff. Alyx being more involved, considering for the time is pretty impressive. I imagine Naughty Dog really liked this one

Being in a Half Life mood I booted up Episode 1 for the first time. It definitely has an epilogue sorta feel. Get outta City 17 to prepare for Episode 2 which is mostly new stuff. Alyx being more involved, considering for the time is pretty impressive. I imagine Naughty Dog really liked this one
Beat Half Life 2 for the first time after starting it on and off over 20 years (wild). Legit might have some of the best pacing ever in a game, up there with RE4. It's insane how well this game still holds up all these years later.

Rolled credits in Lumines Arise. Enhance has never put out a dud and this further proves it. 10/10 experience and now I know how to play Lumines

the more I think about the Steam Machine, I feel the main audience this is for is the heavy enthusiats and peopel who ONLY have a Steam Deck.
I could see in 5+ years when an updated Steam Machine comes out, and these are refurbished, could be interesting/appealing. idk that's just me

Happy 24 years to my favorite game of all time MGS2. There are better games in the series for sure, but 2 just holds a place in my heart mainly cause this can only work as a video game. No matter how many times people will dunk it, I’ll never hate it.

been trying out Lords of Shadow on and off. It's a neat game, I just don't like the constant "STOP. READ THIS STUPID. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO STUPID IDIOT" that was common in a lot of games during this time. Also the camera shaking makes me dizzy I can only play in bursts

another person I feel is deserving of this as well is Yu Suzuki! Not only did he have a major impact in the arcade world, but his work influenced a huge part of the industry. Virtua Fighter alone pushed the industry to tackle 3D. PlayStation wouldn't exist without Yu Suzuki.

I think the only new games I'm looking forward to for the remainder of 2025 are Unbeatable and Metroid Prime 4. I think I'll check out Skate Story, Terminator 2D and Kirby Air Riders if I have time.

I don’t mind when games say “go this way” and tell you. But I think it’s better if A. It’s up to players to say “show me where to go” and B. If you can make it integrated into the world. Dead Spaces blue line is a perfect example. It fits with the world and in context makes sense
