We need to seriously rethink our power structures. Law and order and blind obedience only serve those in power. If you aren’t the one giving the orders, you are just another puppet in the societal structures meant to keep you down.

Rep @rokhanna.bsky.social is spot on. We all see it, even if some won’t say it.

Schumer needs to take the same advice he gave Biden— step aside. He can stay in the Senate, but he’s not the leader for this moment or the future.

What we need now is someone willing to challenge him for the top spot.

If women are underrepresented in STEM, it's at least partly because men like this offer mentoring, then embarrass themselves by assuming their mentees must be into them, then decide the best solution is to cut ties, which sends the signal to other faculty that the mentee must not be good enough.
The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

“I can disagree with our President and I am allowed to do so”. It is crazy that a Politician needs to say this, but this is where we are in the US today.
Marjorie Taylor Greene: "I can disagree with the president at times, especially this past Monday, on the Marines' 250th anniversary, when he honored the new Syrian president who is an Al Qaeda terrorist and was wanted by our government for years."

they've been getting away with this for decades but if we ask for a 1% tax on stock trades they look at us like we're insane freaks
We should talk more about credit card companies adding a 3% vig to small businesses, and how small businesses have the tough choice of eating g that fee or passing it on to customers.

81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.

In addition to bad taste, the rich are often not that bright. This will not be news to some of you but it is to many. Our culture equates wealth with superior character and intelligence. But spend a little time with the rich and the truth is evident.

They know the truth. It’s why they hate merit.
When I was an arts reporter back in the day (yes it’s true), I had access to rich people who were patrons of the arts. (This was in Savannah & Charleston.) Thing I learned: they often have terrible taste. I mean really terrible. That the Oval Office is gilt in gold by an insecure rich man is par.

The Epstein coverup will go down as one of the greatest scandals and miscarriages of justice in U.S. history.

Everyone involved with Epstein’s victims or with the coverup needs to be prosecuted and go down in shame.

It does not matter if they are GOP or Dems!

Repost if you agree.

So let me get this right, Trump’s plan was:

1. Tariff everything to help the economy (it didn’t)

2. Claim consumers aren’t paying tariffs (we are)

3. Panic & roll back food tariffs b/c you created an affordability crisis (we told you)
