On #BBCQT - Fiona Bruce said that the audience and public didn't want to press Reform UK on their dodgy links to Russia.

I disagree.

RT if you agree it's in the public interest for Reform to explain about their links to Russian money and bribery!
You are clearly using this as a reason to troll the greens without actually knowing anything about their policies. I was always told not to argue with idiots… you probably know the rest. Have a great day :)
Wow, way to twist my words. I was pointing out that Sian warned the council this was a possibility; at no point did she, or the Green Party, condone it. I never said I speak for Brighton, I said that their views do not align with the majority of feminists. Also never said I condone it either.
OR, alternatively, @sianberry.bsky.social raised concerns about an anti-trans feminist group holding their conference in one of the top trans-friendly cities in the UK, deliberately to provoke. I am a feminist. FiLiA do not represent the vast majority of us.
It’s not like that any more- check out Greens Organise :) I have zero patience for anything that isn’t firmly backed by science and haven’t met any other greens so far that have given me the ick. On the other hand, all of the anti-vaxxers I know are reform voters…

I've been so despondent about the inability of politicians to answer questions with integrity and clarity, and then I watch this and, be still my heart, there's hope again. @zackpolanski.bsky.social nailing it. This is the future I want. Go Green.💚 www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ksg...
Is Zack Polanski the Left's answer to Nigel Farage?

Completely agree; we need to not only spread correct information counter the right/far right, but we also need to stop our own sharing of the more disturbing propaganda, even if we are doing so as part of a rebuttal. It’s still feeding the algorithms & pushing it into more people’s feeds otherwise

Given the context and the crowd, despite Musk’s weasel words, this was a call for violence against the British state, from a foreign national who controls a major propaganda engine, and has engineered it to monetise hate
When you’re going to be up against Farage with a commodities trader background, I don’t think the average Joe with little knowledge of Green Party policies would agree. Just to be clear, I voted for Zack and he will be an excellent leader; I’m just not sure headlines like this will do us any good.
I feel it implies incompetence and minimises his legitimacy… much like whenever Zelenskyy has been criticised, his previous comedy/entertainment career is always mentioned.
So fed up of the BBC and their disgustingly blatant political bias. Was the “former actor” comment necessary? Do they start every Farage headline with “racist, misogynistic, fear-mongering, fossil fuel funded c*nt”? No, they do not.

One million hectares have burned across the EU so far this year.

Langdale Moor in North Yorkshire is on fire as we speak.

And yet governments and the media continue to bury their heads. Only the Green Party has a plan to tackle climate breakdown and close the inequality gap.

Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

Migrants didn't cut council funding. Migrants didn't cut NHS funding. Migrants didn't close youth centres. Migrants didn't sell off council houses. Migrants aren't filling our rivers with sewage.

Farage and co. will tell you to point the finger at migrants.

Don't fall for it.
This is why we need proportional representation

🤔 It's a real mystery why Richard Tice and Reform are going so big on the whole climate science denial thing...

💰 Oh wait, no it's not! They're in the pockets of big oil and gas companies!

🙉 Their denial of reality is straight out of the Donald Trump playbook.
Missed my last 10k race due to an injury which I sustained during a previous 10k I hadn’t bothered to train for. On Sunday I will be missing another race, this time because I dropped a tin of vegan beans and sausages on the top of my bare foot. Sharp edge first. It’s hard not to think it’s a sign…

🔴 How Our Politicians Created an 'Island of Strangers' So They Don't Have to Make Our Lives Any Better

How Our Politicians Created an ‘Island of Strangers’ So They Don’t Have to Make Our Lives Any Better
By presenting tougher immigration as a solution to people’s discontent, Keir Starmer and others sidestep the real reasons why people feel estranged in their lives – it’s a cynical and simplistic polit...

Tickets secured for @wheatus.com gig in December; 14 year old me would be so proud I can still recite the entire debut album word for word (tested again loudly at 7am this morning much to my son’s dismay)
Just completed my annual sacrifice to the London Marathon. Please running gods, LET ME IN THIS TIME! I vowed at 29 I’d run it before I’m 40 so 2026 is my last chance 🙈
