His first task is to organise the leaving event for all those who promised to leave if he won.

Now is the time for a massive clean out of the time serving wasters.
Time for a change of government.

It’s worth remembering Nandor resigned from Parliament just before his entitlement to a lifelong pension kicked in - deliberately. Unlike every striped-business-shirted Tory we’ve ever known

New Zealand, we need to talk about dairy.

A few people are making a lot of money, but the rest of us are paying a very high price now and in the future for them to do that. 🧵

Agree completely. Please act.
If he really was being clever he would announce/work towards some measures to combat gendered disinformation amongst his councillors, online safety tools for staff etc etc 🙃

Reading an article in the Post, there may be a possibility that he overspent on his election expenses which he has to file by early December. Failure to file or incorrectly filing expenses has serious consequences.

Emily (Emily Writes) and I drafted a letter to Andrew Little about his decision to appoint Ray Chung as chair of the CCO Review & Appointments subcommittee. We think this is unacceptable given his past behaviour. Here's a template for a letter if you agree:

Really, Andrew Little?
Andrew Little has appointed Ray Chung to head an important Wellington City Council committee. We don't think he should be doing that. If you agree, please tell him so. Here's how.

Halloween is the Hollywood version of Samhain.
As it is Samhain, a visual of this would be most appropriate.
What would be wonderful would be to invite Anna Lapwoood to perform her Lord of the Rings symphony on the restored organ to celebrate the reopening of the Wellington Town Hall.

When explaining why you shouldn't have to pay a CGT on your seven houses is losing.

Ray Chung may have been democratically elected, but Andrew Little should not have given him a Committee Chair, given his absolutely disgusting, abusive, and misogynistic conduct.

NZ Agribusiness disrupts all efforts to cut climate pollution, meaning more disruption for food production from extreme weather in the future. NZ Fishing Companies target spawning events to catch quota, which means fewer fish in the future. These industries need public oversight not self-regulation.
"The challenge has been accommodating a broad range of localised requirements into one national technical solution.”
I believe i spotted the problem. If it is a national solution it should be be a consistent system nationwide.

Totally with @yadana.bsky.social here. Cities like Sydney have been doing integrated ticketing for over a decade. Also Cable Car retired Snapper in expectation of the 2026 rollout. Another embarrassing example of NZ failing at simple infrastructure.

‘Getting ridiculous’: Councillor slams ticketing delays
A Wellington regional councillor says 17 years is too long to wait for national ticketing, as NZTA delays the city’s rollout to 2027.
