I had a similar experience as the faculty advisor to a college newspaper. But it was that it was a private college and not subject to the same 1A protections as state schools. Ultimately I refused to do "prior restraint," as it's called because I knew no one else would take the job if I got fired.

The director of student media at Indiana University was fired amidst a dispute between university leadership and editors at the Indiana Daily Student over what content gets printed in the student newspaper.

As director of student media, Jim Rodenbush did not directly oversee or have any say over the content published in the IDS, per a charter between the IDS and the university. But he told IndyStar his firing follows a series of meetings with IU Media School leadership in which it grew increasingly apparent they were expecting him to officially prohibit students from publishing news.

I mentioned to a MAGA uncle that I'd walked all over Portland a few weeks ago & had a lovely time and he said, "Sure, but you can find a few nice places in LA too." To such said, "Yes! I've lived there. Lots of great areas. We don't need troops in LA either." These people are so scared of cities lol

Could totally be any of those things! My 1st (that I know of) was a situation so out of my control where I was surrounded by unmasked plague vectors. My partner tested positive too, but never had ANY symptoms, so idk it's all a mystery. AND first time my N95 has failed me 😭I hope yours is nothing!

I recently got my first case of covid despite an N-95 and a month-old covid shot :( it can happen (and obvs other illnesses can get through masks sometimes too).
