In 1978 Somalia told the Soviets to shove it. Reagan responded with $100M annually to support the dictatorship of Said Barre -- a dictatorship that eventually and spectacularly collapsed in 1990 leading to civil war and mass exodus to Kenya & Ethiopia, later the US through refugee resettlement...
There are 75,977 people born in Somalia who are now citizens of the United States, including those specific people.

He is talking about US citizens. He is talking about *us*.

The truth is that none of us are garbage, and the job of the US president is to represent all of us.

We, the people.
Trump on Somalis: "We're gonna go the wrong way if we keep taking in garbage into our country. Ilhan Omar is garbage. She's garbage. Her friends are garbage."

Since 1990 Somalis have come to the US through the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). That makes them both documented and legal.

There are about 700 Somalis on TPS status, who are also documented and legal.

They will harass an entire pop of over 100k to look for like 12 undocumented people?

Another way Musk is subsidized by US tax payers.

The foundation warehouses Tesla stock to keep the price up. Musk takes a tax credit for his "donations" of stock he wants off the market. Fails to give 5% required by law. Keeps the tax break.
Elon Musk’s charitable foundation grew larger than ever in 2024. But, for the fourth year in a row, the huge charity failed to give away the minimum amount required by law — and the donations it did make went largely to charities closely tied to Musk himself, who is the world's richest man.
Elon Musk’s Foundation Grows to $14 Billion, but Gives Little to Outsiders
The philanthropy has become one of America’s biggest, but most of its giving went to charities closely tied to the world’s richest man.

The admin has fired nearly 4 dozen immigration judges who refused to dismiss asylum cases to give legal cover to DHS deportations
