I checked the thread for episode 2 on r/anime and 90% of them were some variation of "god I wish that were me", so yeah I think a lot of people are into it.

And of course, FeMC is like "that was scary, but also hot" and downplays it. Male MC understandably wants to keep his distance from FeMC from now on, only for the one other guy who stands up male MC to lock the two in a room to see how far they can go before male MC loses control, which he does.

It seems like your standard racism plotline where in the end people will realize that the guy isn't that different from them after all, but then he smells FeMC at the end of the first episode and, in the words of the show no less, goes into rut. Just gross.

Man, the "don't be racist to furries" romance anime is not making a very good case for not being racist to furries. I'm giving it one more episode because the show is well produced, but having the male MC SA the female MC twice in two episodes is not a good look.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but my YT algorithm has really been shoving IRL Doto content down my throat lately. He's one of the few early adds to the game to still be alive, so that probably helps.

No modern RPG would have a city of Lumiose's size that'd allow you to enter every building. Xenoblade doesn't do it, and BotW/TotK get around it by just having a few buildings per town. I get maybe wanting better graphics (ZA looks totally fine though, imo) but Pokemon fans want the impossible.

A big one I've heard is that you can't go inside of every building and I'm just like "Do you really even want that? That would be a pain in the ass!" Also typical complaints about graphics and difficulty. The graphics look much better than SV and the game is made for 6 year olds. Get over it.

I was part of the SwSh hate, admittedly, but as time has gone on, I've realized that it's not worth the energy to get mad at stuff like that. ZA especially has ironed out a lot of the issues the Switch 1 games had, as well as improving on the Legends Arceus gameplay in almost every way.

Glad I don't follow many people who are big into Pokemon on bsky. Legitimately did not know that people were hating on ZA until after beating it. I thought the game looked good and played good. Voice acting would be nice, but that aside, you could tell they had more time to work on it than usual.

Legends ZA taking what was without a doubt one of the weakest Pokemon stories and doing what they did with it is honestly incredible. It's unquestionably an extension of XY's story and themes, but it makes you care about it in a way that XY failed at. It's set a high bar for future Pokemon stories.

Finished ZA's main story. Easily the best 3D Pokemon game. Does a lot of interesting things with its story and has a surprisingly strong message. Would have liked voice acting, but otherwise no I had no major issues with polish. Pokemon Z getting cancelled was the best thing to ever happen to Gen 6.

It could be better in a mainline game once it gets an ability, but anything short of like, Drought would make it basically unusable in any competitive capacity.

The fact that ZA failed to even make Meganium usable for a casual playthrough is ridiculous. You're gonna give this thing a Mega with massive Special Attack and Fairy STAB, but not give it any Coverage outside of Earth Power or even give it Moonblast? What the fuck is the intended gameplan here?

Really liking how my character turned out. ZA's probably got the best customization options of any Pokemon game. The characters looking a bit older helps a lot.
