Spent half the drive tonight worried that I'd forgotten to pack my medication and I'd need to rush home early to resupply. Through fluke and inattention I actually had the exact volumes needed in my bag. Massive relief.

It's cool how the summer of cricket is a wonderful chance to listen to Jim Maxwell and Ric Finlay, but also the chance to hear Phil Tufnell debate if an octopus or Cameron Green would be a better fielder (he chose octopus) #ashes

I don't like to brag about how great my life is going but the power company just turned off the delightful emergency diesel generator that has been running 24x7 in my yard for 3 weeks.

Unlucky that the last couple of years I seem to have had to get every govt / work ID renewed. Due to a combo of ageing, weight loss, cancer treatment and hair loss every photo looks so wildly different it's hilarious.

Extremely Canberra but its sure nice how the handmade markets gives people that have never been in a crowd before a chance to mingle with people who have never walked in a straight line before.

Canberra Centenary trail quest - part 10 (Mt Ainslie Junction to Federal Hwy via Mt Majura Summit). 15km walk through mostly delightful terrain and inexplicably a section of hwy. Plenty of new-to-me sections and a couple of echidnas to close out the segment. As it should be.

Coombs parkrun chatter + jog (with thanks to the vollie for the action shot). I took very few photos for basically the first time ever. Managed to complete the course before the predicted mega storm. Always delightful.

Just got home from a day of minor inconveniences and irritation to find a mirror had fallen off the wall and miraculously landed on the only soft item in the room and did not shatter.

Another morning as the silliest person I know. Did my annual dive roll and slide on Mt Ainslie Parkrun. All fine aside from a few cuts and scratches and a hilarious bruise exactly the size and shape of my phone. Like an athlete. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #parkrunau #loveparkrun
