it takes time for her to cut to the heart of the issue. the scapegoating's the first box; the second shows the root of maya's positivity's a response to her grief w/o recognising it outwardly. the other examples are second boxes, where maya sees her determination in ixquic, and childishness in sudou

yukino mentions maya gets emotional easily, but w a closer look, she only comes to blows when she sees herself in others. given it's hard for her to face herself in a straightforward sense, judging others is far easier; for instance, she scapegoats her struggles onto lifestyle rather than grief

tsutomu's so funny but i think what gets me is that they both want answers,,, but one's got knowledge thanks to someone's perception of him (maki), while the other's tormented by not knowing quite what's going on, but trying SO hard to understand. tsutomu's always a trier,,, admirable,,, ;u;
