was searching for my experience playing p2is psp and yeah. you'd never know the menu's like pulling teeth the way i was playing,,,, although i was simply down horrendous for every character in their twenties. i'm so good at rpgs <3

p2ep is incredible at showing katsuya's slow spiral as his compulsions become more and more justified. near the start (after saving ulala), he's self-aware that obsessing over sin will make him worse; flash forward a few dungeons though? he's stressed and it's all he can focus on,,, poor guy ;v;

ofc, some details contradict ocpd as well. the biggest one is katsuya letting tatsuya return to his side w/o a fight, even if katsuya knows he has to challenge his attachments too; i imagine it'd play out differently, especially given he realises before the final battle ;v;

there's little details as well, which usually get viewed through an overprotective lens, that also lend credence to ocpd; him leading tatsuya's rescue, healing tatsuya himself w bandages and NOT maya's healing spells, having the first flashback in the monad, and taking charge when talking down maya

he binges w alcohol as well, so one could argue he's got issues w addiction in many forms (solidified by the coffee and smoking dialogue). still, the fact he joins ulala and gets a stomach ache says a lot; he's not in a good place w food during p2ep, and uses it to self-soothe
