Tale as old as time. Losers looking for a place to belong. I've been looking for a piece Good Housekeeping did in the 90s about women whose ex husbands joined the KKK for community and how they were fighting to keep their kids out of that. The losers wanted a place to belong. KKK gave it to them.

When you start reading about these different Nazis you learn most of them were school dropouts, military failures, and general losers. German efficiency blah blah blah but they were mediocre at best with propaganda and brute force being their most effective weapons

These posts from @andr3wsky.bsky.social on threads (I checked to see if he also posted here but he didn't) were actually hard to read, because Black folks have said this *so* often and been argued *down* about it, reading someone say it as a 💡 feels damn near insulting. But maybe ppl will listen

Mind you, most people who are homeless cant be assessed for HUD services bc you have to be physically without a roof over your head to qualify. Families and children couch surfing, scraping funds together for motels, living with family, etc. All shut out of resources.

So it would behoove the other party to face this reality (unlikely to happen imo) and begin to lay the groundwork by repeatedly messaging corruption and foreign interference. Get comfortable being the actual lesser of two evils. It’s not about being liked and making friends, it’s saving the country
