Many "revolutionary" inventions fail to live up to the hype, many inventions not hailed as revolutionary wind up being revolutionary in hindsight.

“50 years in the making” This is what Schumer doesn’t get - this was enabled by a decades long conspiracy that started with local elections and built from there. There’d be no 6-3 Supreme Court without decades of Federalist Society judges. Old school Dems like Schumer ignored or minimized that.
