The Hazbin Hotel fandom has a real problem when it comes to excusing the evils of the male characters because "his feefees hurt!" But claim that any female character who's mean sometimes or does one morally grey thing is an evil harpy who deserves to die.

I’m gonna come out and say that I’ve always been a bit disdainful of people who always self-victimize for shipping a “controversial” m/f couple. Unless you have good proof of actual bigotry, one less heteronormative pairing is not the fucking worst thing to happen, much less warrant smear campaigns.

I find it unnecessary tbh. I grew up with several Christians who celebrated Halloween and even held Halloween events at churches. Most Christians know that Halloween is just playing pretend, these ones however seem to take it too far with the sanitization.
