Right now I am doing some pre-Thanksgiving cooking and writing down the family recipes for the first time. These recipes were my grandmother's way of integrating the American Thanksgiving food with the food eaten in El Salvador during the holiday season.

I truly feel like my life has been a roller coaster in both good and bad ways. I still feel like I am still discovering my inner hidden talents, navigating through my emotional reactions, yet feel lucky to have family, friends, and a wonderful bf who supports me through and through.

Maybe its just me, but I find it a bit disrespectful that I am seeing people making quotes and comments on the Vassago Dia de los Muertos merch saying things like "We want Stolas!" "Give us Mission Zero merch!". READ THE ROOM! This holiday is important for a lot of Latinos and we love the merch.
