I wish that Americans embraced Tintin and Asterix. The 2011 Tintin movie by Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson and Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight would had a great chance to make them popular and more well known in America and show them that there's other European comics besides The Smurfs.

Sketchily rendered costume concept for Aster in Fortiche's Arcane artsyle. In this version he wears bandages from his jaw to the rest of his body. On top of that, he wears a tattered tank top, with the right strap made up of three strips of fabric tied over his shoulder and around his neck. He wears three sets of belts, two broad ones layered on top of each other on his waist and one slender one looping diagonally twice from his waist towards his chest then down again. He wears leather pants that is torn open on the right knee and is broken up into three horizontal segments stapled together on the left leg. He wears steel soled black leather boots with an assortment of chains for laces.
