I stepped on a scale today (usually I just measure myself and very rarely use a scale) and it seems like I’m already lifting more than my bodyweight with lat pulldowns which explains why I’m now able to do unassisted pull-ups well 💪 I’ve lost some weight even tho my cut has been small

Something nice that happened today: a person I hadn’t met before complimented me in a very sincere way out of nowhere. That made me happy even though it also surprised me a bit, so it took me a few moments to thank her. But I managed to thank her ✨

Evergreen advice for new artists, remove "Aspiring Artist" or whatever variation out of your bio! Are you making art? Then you're an artist! Life as a creative can be difficult enough as is. Starting off on the path by putting yourself down doesn't help you.

Attended a new social event and had a great time ✨
I still often have to briefly fight the "what if I just stay at home instead" thoughts, though, and sometimes they still win. It takes time for the new activities to become your new normal and comfort zone but that's also okay

Looking back, in 2023 my gender/body dysphoria was so bad that I avoided meeting new people irl. Social media was kinda my comfort zone since it allowed me to communicate via text, but back then I still didn’t fully recognize that anxiety as dysphoria and instead thought I was just socially anxious
