So I am watching The Big Dan and Phil video because I perversely enjoy watching explainers on things that are deeply 'I don't go here' And they make me feel like I'm face blind because to me they look like the same guy just with different hair and eye color.

I can't tell if she's just a more aggressive groomer in general or if there's something itchy going on But there is definitely more chewing than I'm used to. she is using the scratcher which is nice and she was leaning up against me for some of the grooming which means she's getting comfy

well I think her tummy stitch looks okay, And when I came in she was in babycat's old shark bed. And she had pooped which I feel like is a good sign after surgery? she is also already really interested in leaving the bathroom. almost as much as she is in loudly licking her butthole.

yup! just took my middle of the night piss in an old dishpan so as to not wake her up, and I'm sleeping warmer than I like because the AC is always stronger in my bathroom and I don't want her cold. so im totally on track to center my life around her!

for TV usage so that outside of the bathroom is less enticing. It's certainly a lot bigger than her cage at the shelter (Even if it's less stimulating because there aren't people in popping by all day) so hopefully she's okay in there. fingers very crossed that the incision site is chill in the AM.

correction: Right now I am just a weirdo who is using an old dishpan as a bedpan So I don't have to play cat goalie with an unfamiliar/healing cat trying to escape the bathroom during my nighttime wee. Also making a point to keep the lights low in the hall outside of the bathroom and use headphones

fingers very much crossed that I do not wake up tomorrow to her incision having issues. I did manage to find a small battery operated LED to put in there so I could turn the lights off.
