There's no shame in tracing and redrawing art from artists u enjoy if u do it for learning.
If there's local art supply stores (not commercial ones), or art groups where u live, those can be nice too to broaden ur horizons.
Finally, experiment. Do things, u learn something new everytime u try

U DO NOT have to learn realism, unless u want to be a realistic artist. In the end, it's all ur choice, so get a little of everything and then u can specialize in whatever u prefer/ur best at
Also, try different medium, look closer at art in museums and try to understand the techniques used there->

Try multiple things. Spend like 5-10 minutes with one thing and move onto the next, for like 30-60 minutes if u can, or wahtever time u wanna put down, no shame in only doing 10 minutes.
Try practicing those things again the next day, and tben the next, etc. until u think u get the gist of it [...]

Honestly, there's so many ways to go.
As others have said, look into "basics", u can find a lot of books at the library, art supply stores or online.
I recommend not sticking to only 1 resource. Get a lot of books, even some made for specific styles (like anime art books) [...]
