Exactly. A good action-leaning game would have to have more of the Abrams vibe to it to work. Which I'm not necessarily opposed to. In that respect, you could make something akin to Star Wars Outlaws, where you're shuttling up to a ship and flying around and then beaming down to planets too.

We're recording the October Nexus a little later, so I've got Trek on the brain and have a legit question for all my gamer friends: has there been a decent Trek game made in the modern gaming era? I had fun with some shitty CD-ROM games in the '90s, but haven't played a new game in likely 30 years.

Have to applaud the noise cancelling insulation in my hotel. My room is facing a loud-as-fuck part of Fremont Street and the hallway is loud, but the room is totally fine.

I wasn't really sold on the first few episodes of Peacemaker S2 because I'm just exhausted with multiverse stuff. But by the end I was all in. The penultimate episode last week is the wild one, but the finale was some nice catharsis for the characters and a rad setup for S3.
